Die Manufacture for Large Truck in Farming Industry

Recently, Centaur designed and built a custom die for the large truck and farm implement industry. Based off a customer supplied print, the die was designed using Solid Edge CAD software. We then performed CNC milling and other conventional machining operations to build the part complete. In addition, all holes were produced with our advanced wire EDM machinery.
 
The die was constructed from D2, A2, HRS, and CRS commercial steel material, metal chosen for its superior wear resistance and durability. Determined to ensure that our die met with customer approval, we provided six samples with complete layout of dimensions for client review. We were, therefore, able to meet all customer specifications and standards for this part.
